Over the top, with gowns of silk tulle and organza in dove gray and multi-layered polka-dot evening dresses in silk chiffon, a truly beautiful collection.

For his Fall 2010 collection, presented recently in New York City, Australian designer Toni Maticevski seemed to favor shiny fabrics and embellishments.  His collection was over the top, with gowns of silk tulle and organza in dove gray and multi-layered polka-dot evening dresses in silk chiffon.  Interesting attempts to separate, layer, and decorate the body were made.

Overall, his collection was romantic, feminine, sweet, and beautiful.  Yet he did not fail to bring the audience an edgier look with his black mesh top, gold leaf sequin bra, and black oversized wool jacket. The complete and overall themes were beautiful and coherent when captured, especially with the simpler chiffon gowns.
