The latest Carman Marc Valvo collection blew into Times Square on a summer breeze. “Summer Breezes, sea sprays and salt water taffy,” according to a poem written by the designer and used to introduce the Spring 2012 line. The daytime looks were both sophisticated and effortless. A jasmine cotton pique tuxedo sundress is perfect for the deck of a yacht anchored off the coast of Cannes and retains a Americana that would be welcome at a Hamptons polo match. Ball Gown Skirts are topped with cardigans, waist coats and jackets. Evening gowns of spun chiffon looked delicious in flavors of lemon ice and pink lemonade.
