Designer Eric Kim is pretty active and outgoing (surfing and skating are his favorites), and he created a fall 2011 Mik Cire<\/a> collection that allows a lot of \u201cmovements.\u201d But Mr. Kim likes his clothes to fit really snug to the body, and he found a solution for that \u2013 putting elastic in the seam. \u201cSo you can actually move around instead of locking into a position like a statue,\u201d he explained in a clam voice.<\/p>\n

The collection is almost all black, a few hits of ox-blood lambskin jackets here and there, but he nailed the fabrics and layers by using a diverse selection including cashmere, wool, silk, and suede. The designer also added chic and practical accessories like sashes, scarves, and backpacks, that gave the all-black looks more dimension. One most memorable black piece was the wool trousers with bias strap on the back that had that prince-charming sexy feel but with an edgy, devilish attitude. Another attention-catcher was a tinted Campbell tartan single breasted suit that was sexily-fit and well-constructed.<\/p>\n
