Andy Kim and Debbie Yoon, husband and wife designers of Andy & Debb, presented a mixture of textured, sequined, and metallic garments as their fall 2010 collection.
Pants with large belt buckles and Victorian styled collared blouses were common. The black double-breasted tuxedo
jumpsuit was a clear favorite.
There was a lot going on in this collection, but no apparent theme or core concept. In retail terms, it’s functional, it’s competent, it will sell, but are the designers pushing themselves artistically here? There are some interesting looks, but nothing was really representative of an evolution in the spirit of the creativity shown last fall.
