There is a mathematical precision to a threeASFOUR design which is really remarkable. The legendary team, Adi, Gabi & Ange, exposed their guiding principle while chatting after the show, telling me, “we follow the shapes of nature, so we never go wrong.”
Their designs are often thought of as being high concept, making some observers think they are costume designers, but their clothing for the most part is actually easy to wear and designed to hold up to life. Here, bold colors flowed and contrasted with polished metallic accents that evoked plate mail. Yes, there are pieces which would be more at home in a magazine editorial than at dinner, but for the most part it only takes a little bit of bravery to wear threeASFOUR. My advice, be brave. Be threeASFOUR.
