The Spring 2012 collection of Victor De Souza displays compelling creativity that engaged viewers with armoresque silhouettes coupled with elegant lines, ruffles, hand-stitched silk ripples, and pleated horse hair. The designs of this collection showcased a special balance of structure and fluidity with the use of satin,organza, and wool.
The palette consisted of atmospheric hues of sky blue, silver-grey, and ivory, forming into alluring rounded shapes. Finding inspiration for this collection was all about “designing for a woman of another world, mixing fantasy and reality,” said the designer. This charming concept was proven again and again on the runway.
