Designer Michael Dominik Sontag, young winner of the most recent Becks Fashion Experience juried show, presented his spring-summer 2010 line on the third day of Berlin Fashion Week.
It was a small but vital collection, with fine fabrics, light colors, and very simple but effective cuts.
Like in many of the Berlin shows, the models seemed inexplicably to be moving in slow motion, like they were very tired and going to bed in Michael Sontag pajamas. This is more a criticism of the presentation style than the collection, which has a simpatico aura, appearing at times elegant, but overall comfortable and easy to wear.
