This is designer Robert Tonner’s second collection. A strong departure from the vision of his first collection (Spring 2009), but Tonner has again utilized the innate femininity of the female form.

While so many other designers this season continued to experiment with shoulder inserts and other masculinizing elements, he has presented a collection that celebrates the classic beauty and refined quality of the bygone New York Cafe and Jazz Club cultures. Strong tailoring, exquisite fabric, and a captivating presentation continue to be Tonner trademarks.
