“Fantasme de l’Inde” is the theme for Malan Breton’s Fall 2010 collection, perhaps a nod to his rumored Indian financiers.

Breton is a showman, recognized for his talent in bringing together his exotic clothing with beautiful models, dancers, music, and fantastic fabrics, all together in one vibrant malestrom.

The collection exhibited great volume, texture, and futuristic sophistication.  His fabrics— looking quite imminent themselves— were full of metallics: golds, royal blues, blacks, and silvers. A highlight of the show was the cropped leather jackets and the exquisite, detailed face jewelry.  All in all, Malan put on a successful and unique show, one that exhibited new cross-cultural trends that are sure to be seen down the runway sometime again in the near future.
