Mongrels in Common – Fall 2010 – Berlin

The design team behind Mongrels in Common, Livia Ximenez-Carillo and Christine Pluess, created a bold and determinedly cohesive Fall 2010 collection for Berlin Fashion Week. The duo concentrated on particular shapes, which were presented on both hard and soft-looking fabrics, in a diminished palette of mint green, grey, black and salmon pink.

Designer Abigail Lorick created a youthful collection for Fall 2010. It was absolutely full of headbands, feathers, chic jewelry, and glittery tights.  Her quoted inspiration for this season was “angels and cocoons.” Each lively ensemble was fully accessorized was statement necklaces, large earrings, antique-styled brooches, sparkles, sheers, and elaborate brocades.
