Chado Ralph Rucci – Spring 2009 Collection

modaCYCLE senior photographer Freda Henry invited Dr. Christine Desmytter, wife of General Jean-Luc Baplue, Military Adviser at The Permanent Mission of Belgium to the United Nations, to view the Chado Ralph Rucci show on the last day of New York Fashion Week. This Dr. Desmytter’s report:

Ralph Rucci m`était inconnu!
Le regard trop inexpérimenté que j`ai pu porter sur sa collection Printemps 2009 a été ébloui.
Il m`a envoûtée.
Une ligne classique, une géométrie surprenante dans l`ornementation m`a fascinée.
L`organza, le tulle qui donne cette transparence raffinée, féminine.
La fluidité des tissus; la soie,la laine le crêpe…que d`élégance!
Ses couleurs lui ont donne toutes mes faveurs: le noir, bien sur mais l`ivoire
l`albâtre, le fushia, le saumon, l`écru, le kaki…
Même l`argent m`a plu car il n`y avait aucune vulgarité et la forme était sans reproche.
Mon coup de coeur; “Apple Green silk faill dress“
mais aussi: “ pale pink double faced wool/silk and silk tulle suit“

Un seul mot pour traduire mon impression et terminer ce flash:
“VERTIGINEUX“

Je rechercherai désormais sa griffe.
