The Smeilinener Spring-Summer 2010 collection presented at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Berlin was leaning a little bit in the Anna Sui style direction. Very colorful and the designer concentrated on details, especially the embroidery. Many pieces gave the same impression one gets from traditional colorful Tibetan ceremonial clothing, but with 1980’s touches, as seen most clearly in the color choices, tight fits, and shoulder embellishments. However, not having any experience using the projectors, nor access to a trampoline, they decided to manipulate the background using separately shot images instead. John Varvatos, Spring 2010 Collection at Milan Moda Uomo

The John Varvatos Spring-Summer 2010 Collection was a series of clean cut, soft garments, and silky looks in black, red, silver, grey-blue, and yellow. Refined fits were on display, especially in the classically-inspired coats and jackets. The addition of light scarves and shades to several looks projected a “too cool” vibe. Wearing looks from this line will surely boost the appearance of confidence for young businessmen on the move.

Moschino Men’s Goes A Little Bit 80’s for Spring 2010

Dip back into the early-’80s style file for men and you’ll find slim tight pants, burst colors, stripes, and mostly single color clothes, but every piece was worn matched with several other dissimilar pieces, which creating colorful match-ups and when done right sympathetic pattern jazz. It was the begining of pop fashion. John Travolta, the late Micheal Jackson, the hair metal bands, and even (in an Annie Hall gender bender way) Madonna all sported these looks.
